How to boot into different menu’s on the HTC 10

Bootloader mode

  1. Power off device
  2. Hold both volume up and down and keep holding them
  3. press power button for 3 seconds to turn device on then release but keep holding volume up and down until you see the bootloader screen

Download mode

  1. Power off device
  2. hold volume down and power until device boots into download mode

Recovery mode

  1. Power off device
  2. Hold both volume up and down and keep holding them
  3. press power button for 3 seconds to turn device on then release but keep holding volume up and down until you see the bootloader screen
  4. From bootloader mode scroll down to boot to recovery mode  with volume buttons and select it with the power button.
  5. Recovery will boot up with a red triangle from here press and hold power button then press volume up and the recovery menu will pop up on your HTC 10
