  1. Think I have followed directions but nothing happens when I try to download the apps. Just get a blank screen with cursor in upper left corner.

  2. I was wondering how to use the first aide while using the Ubuntu live usb boot, and was wondering if there is a fastboot driver for the tate-PVT-08 device instead of kindle fire so that you could get the fast boot to work to get it at least to where it could be seen to get it booting on it’s own. Trying to get the drivers to be seen in windows 7 (ADB) is getting to be a pain in the (***) if you know what I mean. Why has nobody ever done an edit on the ADB and the Fastboot drivers by now since the problem still happens? Any and all help would be appreciated. I’m new on trying to use Ubuntu OS , so I don’t know the ins and outs.

  3. Ugh, I’m the worst. Just bricked the Kindle Fire HD 7″ (2013) 3rd Generation by trying to Debloat the apps which constantly were popping up in the background and crashing Star Wars Heroes two-three times per hour. I was side-loading those apps using “Amazon Fire Tablet Tool” from here at

Copied the files over using my regular plain old (NOT fastboot) USB cable and things sort of worked for the past month, downloading various APKs and installing from my Windows 10 Pro desktop pc. But now i’m dead in the water. Tried pressing and holding power & volume for 30-45 seconds to force a reset, but didn’t seem to cure the issue. Still stuck.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

  4. Hi, I used your videos to install CM 12 on my Kindle Fire HD 7. It works so well!!! Question for you is about upgrading to CM 13. My Kindle is the “Soho” version and I’m not seeing much about CM 13 on that. Now that I installed a custom ROM does it matter if I grab the Tate or Soho version?

  5. I need instructions on how to root the kindle fire hd 8.9 with version 8.5.1 for android lollipop or any latest version.I am not new to computers but am no hacker!

  6. I have a kindlefire HDX purchased in 2015 through Verizon that wont boot past the kindlefire logo. tried the factory reboot and that just stalls out at erasing, one it switched back to the boot option screen.

i am not a programmer or a hacker but i need help.. is there anyway to reinstall an operating system on this device, any operating system that will work

    thank you

  7. I hope you can crack the deal with Kindle Fire 8 HD (7.gen) and FireOS
So we can get root on the bastard 🙂
    Thanks for the good work.

  8. Hi. I have a Kindle Fire HDX 3rd Generation running I’d like to root it but see that Tower Root won’t work on that version. KingRoot seems like an alternative but from comments on other sites, may not be the best option. Will RootJunky’s tool to root the Kindle Fire HD work on this version of the HDX? Thanks.

  9. I followed your YouTube on – Kindle Fire HD Stock Amazon OS rom install

How to flash the stock Amazon OS to your kindle Fire HD 7in from recovery

I followed your steps exactly and ran into the following that after I clicked on the zip file this message came up that it

E:Unable to open zip file. Error flashing zip ‘ /sdcard/Download/kfhd7-amazon-os-7.4.3 –’
    Updating partition details….

And that’s it. Rebooting just brings it back to what was there before I tried it.
