I have the same problem Carin does – Can’t get root on 5.1.2. I bought two tablets, and one was at 5.1.1. It rooted like a charm. But 5.1.2 is no good. Any ideas are much appreciated!
is it not possible to downgrade to 5.1.1 from 5.1.3 or is it restricted like apple?
I also have 5.1.2, installed May 4 but cannot get to root, and would love to watch you install the 5.1.2, I’ve got playstore installed and Nova but it won’t load as default. I downloaded Root Checker from playstore and it says I do not have root access. Still have the ads too.
need to remove this i installed had tons of probs how do remove?
I have used this before with older versions of the Fire and it was flawless. I just got a new 5.1.2 and it will not root. It says, “Root access is unavailable Model: KFFOWI”. Any help would sure be appreciated.
I’m stuck at the same message. I’ve tried multiple times so far with no luck. Bummer. And I can’t find anything else about this error anywhere.
I have my tablet with me and i can only use supertool at school, can u post the link of the supertool to a different link? SInce i dont have my own laptop, i cant do anything with the link

Aloha Rootjunky,
First of all, mahalo and thank you for all the effort and work you’ve put in. I was wondering if you have a tutorial or instructions anywhere to show us how to sideload or “downgrade” to fire OS 5.1.2 so that the root will work. It seems like that will solve a lot of peoples problem with the 30% loop. Thank you again for your time!
Hi Rootjunky,
It appears that my fire is on version 5.1.2.1. I cannot find the version 5.1.2 on Amazon or your site. Please inform us where to find it. I have tried Kingroot 30 times to no avail.
