  1. Boy I hope Rootjunky can help me, got me an Amazon Fire 5th Gen and after sideload to the latest update, I went ahead and downgrade to version 5.1.2 so I could regain my root status but it got brinked after I select restart. The tablet is totally dead, not charging, not recognizable in windows device manager, nothing at all works. However I saw an article where this can be undone in Linux Desktop using the python software. Don’t know if you guys familiar with it but you basically is my last resort after doing some research,… Anything work trying would be a big help, it’s my tool of my trade, respect.

  2. I recently got an Amazon Fire 7″ Tablet which came with Fire OS 5.3.1.0. I want to install Google Android Marshmallow 6.0. How do I do it? I tried to follow Rootjunkies instructions but that worked only for Fire OS 5.1.0 . How Do i do it for 5.3.1? Any links, suggestions would greatly help. Thanks!!

  3. After days of searching on the internet, come to RootJunky to ask for help from you to a problem with Amazon Fire SV98LN.

My sister bought US 2 tablets SV98LN Amazon model. She could not configure them to access the store of applications as requested identification in the US, not accepting your data (social security number, address in Brazil …). I took a verified and it really was not possible. I decided then root them and install a clean version of ROM and GAPPS. I did the process by ADB in two. The first was perfect, root, download the ROM and GAPPS the recovery, and set up it was perfect, accepting the Gmail data, downloading apps, running very slight, a wonder. The whole problem was with the second, which I describe below:

I made the process of ADB exactly as done in the first, but there must have been some failure in file transfer, because not completed and the computer (with win10) has stopped recognize it. He was giving the intermittent sounds of “connected and disconnected.”

I’ve tried all recovery processes possible software, available on the internet but always run into that for me is the main thing, that “connects and disconnects” does not allow the installation of programs (Odin, RootFire, KindleUmbrick …) recognize the device. He does not go into “download mode”, the computer does not recognize the device, does not care, does not appear that is loading, in short, nothing appears on the screen, just like a dead device.

However, I know that is not entirely dead, because when connected to the computer with USB cable, is in the connects / disconnects.

Already I came across Android smartphones (here at home are all rooteados and unofficial ROMs) in trouble, but I could always recover through the Recovery or Odin, because he could get into download mode (Samsung have a Home button that Amazon does) .

I would like a help here on RootJuncky site if someone has gone through similar problem or know what I can do.

Thank you very much in advance.
