  1. Hey everyone – hopefully not too much of a ‘noob’ query but have been trying repeatedly on my Kindle Fire HD TEN inch – not 7 in – 5th Gen (KFTBWI, 5.1.1 OS) to complete this process but never get past the ‘fastboot mode’ reboot, ‘pushing’ of root files – always with the ‘remount failed’ and ‘no such file or directory exists’. Have followed all instructions to the irreducible, molecular core and quadruple checked all steps. Perhaps this doesn’t work on the TEN inch version of 5.1.1/Kindle but if 5.1.1 why not? Thanks anyway. Great thread, great feedback, great program…..just won’t work and can’t devote any more heartbreak to it! (Google play was able to be installed which is a good thing).

  2. hi. first, thank you for making this website available to all. its the shit.
Second, I’ve tried to root my kindle fire hd 8 5th gen. which runs on Fire OS 5.4.0.0, however, my efforts have been unsuccessful. I would highly appreciate any input on this matter or any relevant to it. Lastly, i’m not sure what to do after i get root access, if you can please point to the right direction. As i said before, i have an idea but some reassurance will be great.

i hope to hear from you soon; thank you for your time.

  4. Does the supertool work for fire hd 4th generation with 5.3.1.1? I’ve run kingroot 3X with no love 🙁
Is there another way to root?
