  1. Hello Rootjunky I rooted my lenovo k3 with recovery and installed cm12 1. So far my front camera hangs up and the fast boot feature disappeared. Can you advise on a fix.

    Thanks

  5. Greetings All!

Just before Christmas I bought a Lenovo K3 NOTE off Aliexpress.com, a very good
price. Through trial and error and a couple of websites later, I came to XDA and
finally got root and flashed several different ROM’s sucessfully (I think?).
Here is what I have so far:
    Kenovo K50-T5
    Android 5.1.1
    Baseband K50T5.MR1.LWG.V4,2015/07/22 21:01
    Phoenix ROM
    modem_VIBEUI_V3.0_1544_7.303.1_DEV
I am missing something? Everything works except connecting to my carrier and adding or editing an APN?
“Access Point Name settings not available for this user”
Is there something I can do to get this phone to work here in the US (Straight Talk)? I live in Texas if that makes any difference.

  6. Hi RootJunky, I made a type in the earlier mail…. this is the corrected one… it failed on fastboot devices on step 3. what did I do wrong ?

    1. adb devices — OK , device found
    2. adb reboot bootloader — OK , K3 goes into fastboot mode (small print at bottom)
    3. fastboot devices — failed

nothing happens at step 3 and device was not found ….
I had earlier installed the Lenovo drivers from your site to

    Please advice

  7. Hi RootJunky, I am trying to install CyanogenMod 12.1 on my Lenovo K3 Note as per your video, however the install fails with an error message to the effect ‘This package is for device: aio_otfp,k50-t5; this device is K50’
E:Error executing updater binary in zip ‘/sdcard/Download/cm12.1-k3note.zip’.
I have checked and my phone details are Lenovo K50-t5, have you see this before?

  8. Dear Tom,

I have updated to Vibe UI 2.8 which said “Stable version” and then I am in big trouble now.

I think my android version is 5.0. But now it said 5.1 after I have updated to Vibe 2.8. I tried to follow up your video. But it stopped at “Fast boot”. My phone not available in my computer. Hence I was not able to install recovery.img into my lenovo k50-t5.

Please kindly give me suggestion if you know.

    With very much thanks.
