  1. Hi, I was wondering if anyone can help? I recently rooted my Lenovo K3, I then tried to install a custom ROM via CWM when I try to install the zip I get the message ‘opening package’ and then are taken straight back to the main menu of CWM? I have tried a few different ROM’S and same problem! If anyone could help it would be appreciated. Thank you

  3. I recently bought a Lenovo K3 Note and decided to root it. I used your video “How to root the Lenovo K3 note and install custom CWM recovery” Everything seemed to go OK with same output at each step as shown on the video until I tried to boot into CWM recovery. It boots into Lenovo – Recovery which of course has a different menu. I have repeated the process twice with the same result. Can you tell me what has gone wrong?

  5. Hi, RootJunky, I have Lenovo K50-T5, android ver. 5.0, VIBEUI_V2.5_1512_5.495.1_ST_K50-T5 (everything stil original). I am a very beginner (my first android phone). I bought it from gearbest and when I turn it off for the very fist time, I could not use it after turn it on again. I got a message: Unfortunatelly a user interface program has stopped (OK and Solve it). Whatever I choosed, the phone did not work. The message reapeard for as many times as I typed something. I had to do hard reset. After that I connected it to the computer, but I received the lousy messega again and had to do hard reset again. After that I had not connected it to the computer any more and also had not turned it off and it works. Just there are some Chineese words under the unknown phone number calls, it does not recognise the phone numbers from my contacts, which have international codes in the beginning,

As I am the beginner and and not so young any more, I will not use the phone for some special huge apps and games etc. I would like to be fast on Internet, and reliable and user friendly for the use in Europe (Slovenia), without to much changing in the phone and. The originaly it has a Slovenian language (there are many in English – that is not a problem), but there are sometimes also some Chineese menuse. Even by hard reset there are Chineese menus to choose (I found on some youtube what to select if you have Chineese phone).

What do you suggest me to do? Is it possible to fix the error in my phone? Would root help? Do I need to change the ROM? What would be the easyest way to do it for the beginner and what ROM and other things do I need to change to keep everything in operation in the phone and also to keep the possibility of using my language?

Thank you for your help in advance!

    Emil
