How to Enter bootloader mode on the Motorola Droid Turbo. Turn off the device then press and hold the volume down button. Then press the and hold the power button until the bootloader mode pops up on the screen from here you can navigate to recovery if needed or many other features as well. Hello,
I used to be real good at learning and solving problems…but, alas, I got old or lazy or something…so, I look here, to you, for help.
I used sunshine to root a Droid Turbo (I; XT1254) so as to turn on the hotspot feature (Verizon unlimited data plan). Well, the other day I read about some awesome wifi tether app (curious to try on another phone), I installed this app on my Turbo and it seems to have broken the hotspot. USB works fine, but when I turn on the hotspot from the quick pull down menu, it creates the SSID and devices can connect, but there is no internet. I assume a copy/paste of a working hotspot provisioning file would maybe do the trick or changing some setting related to it, but I just don’t know. (Also, I’m not able to change the SSID name or password; when I try, the “SAVE” box is greyed out.)

I’m running XT1254 with Android 5.1, build number SU4TL-49.
I installed the ADB drivers and downloaded and ran the batch files from Droid-Turbo-Block-Bloat-Ware V1 and V2 but get this message every time I run either of the block batch files:
“pm create-user: create a new user with the given USER_NAME,
printing the new user identifier of the user”
and
“pm remove-user: remove the user with the given USER_IDENTIFIER, deleting all data associated with that user.”
Ultimately, the script has no affect on the apps.
What am I doing wrong?

I was able to unlock bootloader with sunshine and installed kingroot. My problem is FRP. Without getting into developer tools with build 49 I cant allow usb debugging. So now I have a unlocked droid turbo with no access to usb debugging. Was hoping you could find a loop hole in this patch. Ive seen a bunch of forums with people who have the same problem when they did this update from 44 to 49 build. Any ideas?
if the bootloader is unlocked try running this command in fastboot mode
fastboot erase frp
or
fastboot format frp
I have a Droid turbo xt1254. Build SU4TL-49. Have enabled developer options successfully. Is there still no root for this device on this build number? Seriously? Come on people, where is this root? Can’t anyone help here?
